Exclamation powertrain products inc

has anyone else been robbed by powertrain products.i recently installed an engine sold by this group.they shipped us a mexico /power test brand engine, that had only 70psi on one cylinder.leaking valves.missing at idle ,but hits above 1600 rpm.....after swapping plug ,coil ,injector. then told me to check lifters.replaced 2 lifters on that cylinder. ran good for 20 miles then back to missing. they sent another engine and said they would pay 750.00 on install...sent first engine back and now they say first engine is fine and not paying for lifters or anything else. what a run around...I have been installing engines full time for over 30 years. first time i have been cheated out of that kind money. should have sent it back with rods sticking out of the block. i would not recommend them to anyone...r.i.p. powertrain products inc

Never heard of them. But, you mention bad lifters. Is it by any chance a flat tappet cam (not a roller lifter cam)? If so, proper cam break in at initial start up and during about the first 400 miles using a break in oil like Driven Racing Break In oil from Joe Gibbs Racing is so critical these days. Is the cam okay, since two lifters went bad?
