Sunroof issue

2003 Navigator- Sunroof will not open or close. Its is mostly closed atm. But does not want to close all of the way. Im wondering if this is related to the VSM problem I think I am having, or if it is separate.

First thing to determine is if it's a mechanical issue with the track or an electrical issue.

I think its track, as it move a few tenths of an inch each way and stops. Seems worst case scenario to me. go figure.

Yeah that sucks, it looks like you'll be replacing the track assembly.
