What's your thoughts?
That depends. It's kinda overkill imo to have an F450 in "pickup" truck form but, some folks well off, like to haul around some very large toy haulers and toys these days and you don't really want a F450 cab and chassis stake bed/dump/bucket type setup for that kind of duty so, I guess. All depends in what you need a truck to do for "working horse" duty, considering there are so many various working duties to be done. It's not the good working horse for hauling gravel, raising yourself up a pole, welding or hauling hay.A F450 cab and chassis with your utilitarian bed would be best for those jobs.
If working duty is hauling a large toy hauler across country with a small car and 4 wheeler inside, that might be a better tool for the job.Since my toys are a pair of snow shoes, backpack,a tent and a camera, the best work horse for that job is a near 30+ mpg car.
