There can be no disputing whether you’ve done your homework on this subject. Your notice of the Ford logo on the Budd 49380 / 7RY 1015 F-3 wheel is similar to what we see on half ton Kelsey Hayes 31283 / 8C 1015 wheels. I’ve found that another wheel (7RC 1015) of this era was designed and had engineering drawings done by Ford while the manufacture of that wheel was performed by Kelsey Hayes. No doubt there were contractual stipulations that required the Ford logo to be stamped into the wheels.
Your documentation of your build process is impressive and will help others in the future when facing the same need. Stu
Hi, you seem to know a lot about wheels... I have a 1959 F-250 in need of period correct wheels. Right now it has the same kind of wheels I had on a 81 Toyota so needless to say they are an eyesore.
I would love wheels and hubcaps to make my 59 look stock again. I have been keeping her stock as I use her around town and for dump runs.

I would definitely talk to Stu (truckdog62563). He has a great wealth of knowledge on many different wheel types.
His post is two spots above yours.
