So I have a 2019 XLT explorer......I love the explorer sport wheels ( there 20") and was wondering if anyone has upgraded.....my question is I see JEGS racing sell a duplicate wheel for a lot cheaper....... just wondering if anyone has used these or knows what the quality of them are?.....
Good Day! I purchased a set of Sport wheels to mount winter tires on for my Explorer from OE Wheels (https://www.oewheelsllc.com/) The wheels look good and fit just like the OEM wheel. These are imported and do not have "SPORT" in the outer lip but, I have been very satisfied with them and the finish still looks new after two winters.
They were very helpful and even threw in a set of black lug nuts at no additional cost ($896 including shipping when I purchased them).
Thanks for the reply back......just curious what tire did you put on them?....... big price difference between the factory wheels are almost 400 a piece!....... yes there the ones I saw so I was wondering......so as long as the quality is good I'm going to check them out......thanks
For the other 3 seasons, the Explorer still has the factory-installed 255/50R20 Kumho tires which, have been terrible (loud, poor traction, mediocre handling). The Kumho's will be replaced this spring with Michelin.
