Quick Trans shift question
Under normal driving conditions, at what rpm does your trans shift from 1st to 2nd? I am just curious as to whether mine shifts late or not. It will shift at around 2800rpms. Had my check engine light on, but the only code was the insufficient egr flow. btw i got the e40d on my truck. Thanks.

Depends on how hard you are accelerating. Mine will shift anywhere from 1300-4000 rpm, but with my driving habits it usually shifts at 2000 or under. I wouldn’t say 2800 is late, you just have a heaver foot.
