Transfer case cover
On my 93 F-150 my cover hangs down way too far "300 I6." Does anyone else have this problem with theirs? Everytime i get stuck its because my transfer cover gets hung up. Any ideas for a solution?

Do you mean the skid plate or the case itself? My 89 is probably similar to yours. I placed spacers between the transmission and rear mount totaling 1/2" (install bolts 1/2 inch longer, they are 1/2-13) and another 1/2" between the rear mount and the crossmember, check clearance with floor as it will be close. This should not change the u-joint angles enough to cause any vibrations. I also removed the skid plate and rebent it such that the mounting surface raises it up about 1- 1/2" Just enough clearance to prevent any contact. You may have to adjust the fan shroud though, it may contact the fan. Anything to gain a bit of ground clearance!

Personally the lowest point in the front of my truck is the heat sheild on the front pre-heater cat, mine has a ton of scrape marks on it from offroading, and in the rear of course the diff is the lowest point...
