cracked ac`power steering bracket
I have a 97 f`250 7.3 powerstroke
I replaced the original power steering bracket about a year in a half ago, because it threw belt and was cracked in two places where power steering bolts are. found a whole unit minus ac. and had it shipped from Canada
Last friday it happened again, lucky it was in front of my house. on the lower bracket the 2 bolts cracked the aluminum bracket.
what caused this? F6TE-19E7008-AA
Now i have two broken brackets, deciding to hunt for another or see if one of them can be welded.
Dont understand what could cause this bracket to break, both around the power steering holes

Mine broke about two years ago in the same manner. I think it's the vibration of the engine. Mine broke when I shut the motter off. It took me 7 weeks to get a new bracket. Ford kept sending the wrong part from dealerships all over the country. Eventually I got one off eBay.
