Getting ready to install resistors,can I use two sided tape instead of screwing them inside the truck cavity or does it have to be against the metal body.
I think they'd get too hot for tape. There's very little room directly behind the lights anyway. I added some wire to the resistors I got and spliced in like the f150leds video. I then wrapped the wires in plastic spiral wrap for protection and screwed the resistors to the the little gusset down below the light fixture hole.
Thanks for that info that's what I needed to no and your right there is not to much room in there.Do these stay hot all the time or just when the lights or blinkers are on.

Dunno. Once mounted and light fixture installed I never looked back.
