Intake Difference
Hi Guys,
I managed to locate a intake but man cannot remember the year it came off of and did not record it on tag. Is there a way to tell the difference on the early 98-99 intake from later years. I need intake for early 99 year V10. Only way I can think of is drive 100 miles with intake gaskets and lay it on manifold to see if ports line up correct.

I was trying to locate a intake for my son's truck. I found 1 but people did not know the year it came from so without being able to tell I did not drive 100 miles to find out if it work or not.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is a site that lets you browse for parts in junkyards. I just did a search for the '99 F-250 V10, and there are three pages of results for upper intake manifold.
The non-PI head V10 was also used in the E-series (vans) back to 1997. Not sure it's the same part overall, though.
