Ive had my Beamtechs for about a month and really like how much light they put out. The issue Im running into is when my brights are on, the lights shine way high, tree level it seems. Ive tried lowering the head lamps and yes it brought down the high beams, but my low beams are way too low now.
Anyone else experience this?
The bottom pics were taken about 100' away. The top pic is low beams. The bottom pic is high beams. See how high on the garage and roof this illuminates. Imagine at 200'+, it goes higher.
Sorry for the blurry pics.
Low beam High beam (illuminates well above garage door)
Before I installed my Beamtech’s I lined my truck up with my garage door and marked the top of my beams from the halogen bulbs with tape on the door. After I installed the Beamtechs I simply adjusted them down to the level of the tape. No flashes and good road coverage.
That's a great way for the install. Did you also switch out the fogs and the tail and reverse lights? Where do you go to look up the correct replacements for a 2019 Super Duty?
I put beamtechs in my 2017 recently. I installed them just like Mrkelly817 above. The high beams are much more "diffuse" than the low beams. It almost looks like they aren't as bright as the low beams, but you can see further down the road. Could that be what you're seeing rather than them being too high?
With mine I had to choose either a better low beam or better high beam. With the low beam adjusted so the cutoff is about 100 feet down the road the high beams are amazing. Unfortunately this is the best that you will get.
OP, your pics show to me that your low beams are way to high. That’s how mine were and I thought the high beams were useless, then I lowered them and they are great now. Try it. set your low beams so they hit the road at the base of the driveway across the street in your pic, then your high beams should be good.

That’s pretty much what I did too. It’s hard to find a flat spot long enough for the truck plus 25’ to set them per the manual. I set them as close as I could to the directions then kept slowly adjusted them up Little by little until I started to get flashed again then went back down slightly. Both the high and low beams seem good now, way better than the halogens. There is still the occasional idiot that just sees six lights coming at them and assumes its high beams.
The pics are a little misleading. My neighbors house is a tad bit lower in elevation than mine.
Tonight I’ll adjust them. My neighbor told me that a good rule of thumb is 8’ back from a wall and the center of beam should be 3’ High from ground 🤷♂️
what other options do I have to make sure they are adjusted properly?
If that’s your low beams at 100 ft to level they are aimed way too high.
I haven't checked my 2019 yet, but when I adjusted the headlights on my 2017 after installing Beamtechs I found that the headlights were adjusted all the way up, right from the dealer's lot.

Check out this page on SuperBright LED. Even if you don't buy there, you can get bulb numbers. But at this moment it appears the page hasn't been updated to 2020. https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle
I switched every bulb on my 2017 to LED. I then moved them all over to the new truck when I bought that last September. If you put switchback LED front turn signals in, be careful. Places will tell you that the 7444 or 3157 will work and they certainly will NOT. You want a 4257. I bought mine from GTR and they snapped right in perfectly.

I'd suggest following the instructions in the owners manual for adjusting them. Attached for reference.
