When I bought my truck it had a heater box with no core in it. And on the end were the kick vent attaches the side is busted out. Does anyone know of someone who makes new ones or a retro fit of some other heater box? It would be nice to have a heater in the winter and i think its too structurally damaged to repair.

First off post your Trk details (year/make/model) & anything else that might pertain to your needs!!!
Then someone will chime in & help you!!
If an older trk. I would suggest the old reliable auto wreckers....
I know they're reproducing the Bronco heater boxes now, but haven't checked for the pickups.
In case there are differences though, what year and model exactly is your truck, and does it have A/C or not?
I have one from a 1970 F-250. I did an AC install which replaces the box. I cleaned and painted the original and it has all new rubber, baffles, etc. The heater core is original and I would recommend having a radiator shop check and solder if necessary. $100 for the whole thing plus shipping from Denver. If interested send me a PM.
I just pulled mine too, I haven’t done anything to it, but it worked before we started tearing the truck down. It’s out of a 67 F100, and I’m in Texas.
I live in Colorado, Boxed up the shipping through USPS will probably be about $40. New discount price of $50 will get you up to $90. It has all new internal foam and a new baffle from the passenger side vent box to the heater box. PM me if interested. The core needs to be pressure tested but the rest is cleaned, painted, and ready to go in.
I have decided too not worry about it until next winter. There are too many other things that need to be done before I drive it. But Thanks for those offerels. When I do need one I'll probably check with you again to see if you have one. Thanks!
1967 heater is completely different than 1968/72. Also different is the firewall, dash, radio, ash tray, brake and clutch pedals, bracket under the dash they suspend from.
1967 heater is controlled by ***** that poke thru the dash. 1968/72 heater has a control panel with levers that slide.
