Hey guys thanks in advance for any info you can provide. I really like my truck just really getting frustrated. Last month for Christmas I was in Ohio in the truck shut down on the freeway and I stuck it in at Columbus diesel Supply. $2,000 later they replaced one injector and a crank sensor and a camshaft sensor and told me it was ready to go. At that point I came back up with my car picked up the truck rented a trailer and headed back to Kentucky. driving back it seemed very sluggish and non-responsive but I had not drove it for a month so I thought maybe it was me. By the time I entered Kentucky Covington it was everything the truck could do to get up the hill. Upon getting home the truck had very little power and according to myself in the programmer it has no turbo boost. I do not know all the parameters to checking the ficm and the other things that you're going to suggest LOL. On the programmer when I read the engine the boost won't go over one or two PSI. There does not appear to be any leaks in the boots as all the boots are new. To start the truck it was a lot of cranking and it would not start foot to the floor feathering the pedal pumping the pedal eventually killed the battery. Put my car on the truck with a good set of jumper cables and eventually the truck did start lots and lots of smoke rolling the truck is now up to 146 degrees operating temperature the ficm logic power is 13 but I honestly don't know what that means the injector control pressure is 4.46 at idle the turbo boost is -2.25. if I rev the engine up to say 2500 to 3000 RPMs I go up to 2 to 3 lb of boost. I know that was a lot of stuff does any of it make sense in an effort to tell me where to start This one shows ficm ignition in the top right Just changing the upper right reading for ficm main internal injector ICP duty cycle
So I took it out and drove it and I do have turbo I just don't have any turbo boost when I rev it sitting in park not sure if that is normal or not I'm posting a link below of the programmer when I drove it up the road I can't figure out how to put a video on here directly
Unplug the VGT solenoid off the turbo see if the pitch changes.
It sounds like you have your vanes sticking and the shop found the worst injector, replaced it and then found either the crank or cam sensor faulty and replaced both as a precaution.
Clean your turbo.
also swap out one of your monitoring parameters for "vgt duty cycle" and watch if its stuck at 15 or 85 %
