Engine mounts
Hey everyone
I am planning to swap my 302 Cleveland and 4speed to a 6 or 7 speed gearbox and a 7.3L banks sidewinder turbo diesel in my 76 2WD F250. I realise this is not a simple mod, but has anyone done it and what are the biggest problems? Where are the engine mounts located, the side or the front of the 7.3? Are they totoally different to the cleveland and will they require welding? Will all the pipes and turbo bits fit into the '76? Does the steering box get in the way?
