This has been bugging me for awhile. The driver door sticks out just a tad. Most wont notice it, but I do. I took the door latch off hoping I can move the latch further inward. That didn't work.
Is there a fix to this or am I stuck with it?
Did you look at the fixed latch to see if that's adjustable? I'd also suggest taking it back to the dealer to have it corrected, for the cost of these trucks, you shouldn't have to try and fix / adjust it yourself.
I pulled my passenger rear door in a little by moving the strike. I'm not sure how much adjustment there is in the strike. I loosened the screws some and then had to give it some love with a hammer and block of wood.
You're lucky, that should be a straight forward fix. I have door alignment issues that I truly believe ime stuck with, unless bending the upper part of the door(window frame) is ok. I doubt that it is.

sorry, I got my wording mixed up. I took off the striker bar located in the door jam. Bought broke my **** knuckle trying to unscrew the torx bolts.

It is ok with steel doors and quite common practice in the auto body industry. If you’ve got the AL body, it won’t bend and stay, it will only flex and then go right back where it came from.

Thanks for that info, it's a 19. I'll throw a pic up one of these days. The main body of the door is fairly flush with the front door, if anything the window belt sits slightly proud of the front, but at the top by the roof line, it does the opposite, where it's way inward compared to the front.
Aluminum has decent toughness and excellent ductility, as such it can elastically flex, whether wanted or not.
Think of a 787 wing, that's aluminum.
I think the better solution, instead of trying to pull the driver door inward, is to try and adjust the passenger door hinge outward, just enough to remove the offset.
There is nothing on the lower driver door that counteracts the outward force of the seal, so as such the edge sticks out.

I get what you are saying. Ill look at the rear pass door tomorrow. worse comes to worse is ill take the truck in and let them deal with it.
How hard is it? Something you feel comfortable tackling or let the dealer do it?
my truck is past the 3/36, and I’m not about paying a dealer to do anything to my truck so I tackled it my self. I ended up having to slightly slot the holes in the hinge bracket in order to get it 100% to my liking. They already slotted but didn’t allow for any more adjustment in the direction the door needed to go so I took the hinge bracket off the door with the 13mm and 10mm holding it to hinge on truck and drilled it out a little. Yours may not need this, but after max adjustment mine still wasn’t 100% so I did this and it worked perfectly.
You’ll have to adjust the rear door hinges outward to match front door.
That's what the OP needs to do to fix the problem. I had the same mismatch and that is how I fixed it. It's very easy to do. Literally took me 5 minutes to adjust the door.
