Autumn is here, and more changes...

I seriously need to get after my FTE page, and Theo is on a road trip - due here in southern Cally any day now.

I have a brand new chinese obligation in the form of an F250 turbo diesel that needs to be documented as I go along, between duty days, packing stuff up, and making ends meet however possible...

It is at times like these that I take a deep damn breath and think about a two word piece of advice I heard from an old SF friend a long time ago:

NEVER QUIT!!!

I have never been in the special forces myself, but time and again I find those two words so fitting I can't begin to express my gratitude for them!

Therefore my FTE homepage has begun it's reorganization with the addition of one simple page:

GREYWOLF'S REVENGE!!!

greywolf, i was on your website admiring the blue one. I have a couple questions. Are you coverting to 4x4 like I am, or just running mudders to get the most out of a 2wd? It was an interesting and well documented site. I like it. Love pics of others resto work. Nothing like a clean frame! Ted

I have to do a complete copy/CDROM backup/reorganisation of the webpage that will in effect split it into at least two projects, both FORD.

Once I have the material downloaded and ready to work with I have to regenerate the entire webpage (INCLUDING stories I have written!!!) *Good news for some folks I know!

When it's all ready to upload I will have to strip by erasure everything I have stored at FTE to get rid of things that take up space on KPaynes server for no obvious reason, and renew it all.

The end result should be cleaner, quicker, and much better presented.

Theo and Speedy are in town now, and while we were driving around in "Two by Four" Speedy asked me:

"Is this the same engine that was in the GEO METRO?"
(I said "YEP!")

And that story will be layed out as well...

Here's an eye opener if you haven't seen it before:

I have wondered ever since what a 5.0 HO engine in a FIESTA would look like...

As far as that goes - I may eventually split off a third area labelled "BLACK OPS"

- Things you wouldn't expect in a plain four-wheeled wrapper...

Theo is also interested in me doing some web-work for his page, and that should come out interesting too.

After tonight - I will be away for a solid month.

I spent three hours this morning downloading and transferring all of the stuff I had on FTE to a laptop portable unit. In that stuff were already written webpages that were offline because they were no longer linked to, other pages were not updated or incomplete in some way, and there were a whole bunch of images that were not used for anything but a single post or two - sort of "HOW TO" inputs...

i will have a month to sort through and do something with all of this stuff, I hope I do a good job on it.

In the meantime - all of the stuff I have on FTE is still there, even though the only way to get to some of it is to look back at old posts of mine.

Whatever... In a month I should be able to upload a few pages that will bring everything together like never before.

See you then. In the meantime, I'll be thinking of you!

~ Wolf out...
