I’ve done some searching and have gotten some good info but what I have is an f150 with a 4.9 I want to hook up the smog system back. It was basically half deleted but I want to hook it back up. I’m having a hard time figuring out where everything goes I have vacuum lines unhooked hoses that go to nowhere all the stuff in the diagram is there (I think🧐. I’m hoping someone has pictures or videos that show all these lines and how they are ran. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Post some pictures of what you have and we will try to figure out what you need. I will try to get pictures of mine tomorrow, if it's not raining all day.
This truck did have an automatic it has a standard now it doesn’t run like I have a vacuum leak but it does “hiccup” if I get on it I’m not sure if it’s smog related right now the whole thing is unhooked ie no belt ran to pump. The o2 sensor is **** I’m going to replace it today but I’m not sure that would be the cause it doesn’t do it if I accelerate slow.
Check the throttle position sensor with an ohm meter to see if the voltage is increasing smoothly as the throttle is opened.\\An analog meter is better for this, but a digital will do.
