I'm looking for some help and/or pointers on what to look at as I recently installed an extended fuel tank in my truck and I am now having issues with my fuel gauge and the dte. The gauge read accurately the last two times I have filled up, but after about a 100 miles, it starts dropping fast and then goes blank as shown in the picture. The tank still currently has at least 40 gallons in it and I used forscan to correct the tank size to 60 gallons right after installing the tank. I am not having any fuel pump issues so I am guessing it is electrical or from forscan, any ideas of what might be happening?
Just a guess, but maybe resetting it using Forscan again. Possibly set it back to not having an extended tank, see what the gauge does, then add the extra tank back on with Forscan
