I'm trying to sort a junk drawer and found 10 oil pump gears (all Flathead I6 and V8). All have 11 teeth and the same diameter, but they have 5 different lengths. Ford part number is 6610 (18-6610, 41A-6610...). I believe the shortest is for the 136cui V8, but I have no idea what the others are for.
Has anyone the measurements for the particular part numbers?
I have to correct this, it's only 4 sizes and the two large ones and the two small ones have the same diameter. Here are the Daltons...Averell, Jack, William and Joe:
