Browser Storage Full

This is not Diesel related, But this is the only place, Forum etc... I get this message pop up.
I was adding to a thread and this message pops up in the center of the page, a red banner.
Actually came up 4 times on each line I typed. This first appeared about a week ago.

Browser local Storage is Full,
Clear your storage or increase
Data Base size.

Exactly what does this mean?
Any of you Computer savy Gurus out there?

Thank you loanwolf, I was using Internet Explorer when this comes message pops up.
Yeah I know IE is an old system and no longer supported.
I flip flop between IE and Firefox depending what Iam looking at.
I like IE when Iam searching on Google, then click on the Image link at the top and all the pictures come up.
With Firefox click on Image link and it is totally different.

In my e-mails IE slows it down or stops and locks up more often than not, Also a (long running script) msg appears at the bottom.
So with e-mails I use FF.

Here with the Forum if I want to save a Thread that is interesting, right click and save to Desktop, then slide it to a Folder.
FF I can`t do that function.

Google constantly wants me to down load Chrome, and Iam gun shy about having Google run one more thing in my life.
They seem to want to control everything. And be a totally different format.

I have the fear of when my Mom`s computer craped out. (Win 7) picked up a win 10 at Costco. What a screwed up system.
Took it back and had one made for with win 7. So with win 10 in the back of my mind, rather stay with what I know than the
unknown.

Another reason I drive an old 86 F-250 6.9 4-spd two tone rust and primer. Simple and it runs.
And drive the older Diesel Mercedes from the 80`s. simple and reliable.

Iam on Internet explorer now and the red banner has not come up...HMMMM

Charlie

here is 2 links that might help you with Fire Fox (I'm using FF right now) you can use the Thread tools here and select show printable then you can just print to a File.
this is explained here a bit Post #5 being the best Option https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...ple-pages.html

AdBlockPlus and several other extensions are handy with FF ... Save as PDF is real handy https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...n/save-as-pdf/ OR you can use Print to PDF https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-pdf-document/

I use Visioneer PaperPort 12 it sometimes comes Free with Office Color Laser printers, it handles Scanning and allows Images to be saved to PDF.. I just listed it as another alternative

unfortunately Win 7 support ends on the 14th of this month .... I hate Win 10 also but I have recently set up a couple Win 10 Pro one of the Features that is real handy is Group Edit this was also very handy in Win 7 too

you can make win 10 look and act a bit more like win 7 ====>> https://www.howtogeek.com/277448/how...ike-windows-7/

the MS Edge Browser SUCKS Period

EDIT: BTW while we would never admit to reading such a book, this can be handy, just don't tell anyone you read it http://www.albrightcs.com/Windows%20...%20Dummies.pdf

Loanwolf thank you for the info and links. OH yes that book, I have seen it in the used book sections at Thrift stores.
Looks like I have a lot of reading to do, to bone up on things. The Computer world of technology changes so quick,
there is no way to stay up with it. They want you to buy the next new thing or gadget..
Last night I clicked into Tractorbynet forum and got side tracked reading their threads.
I have a John Deere 950 also.

Mentioning Windows 10, Tuesday we are having 10 triple pane Windows installed here at the house.
