Was able to get the doors on my 62 Flare side yesterday. Passenger went on pretty easy and lined right up. Drivers was from a donor 61 and didn't fit quite as well. Will need to do a couple more fine adjustments to that one once I get some help. Doing doors by yourself is tough.
Now imagine doing it alone with doors that are nearly 2 feet longer and about 50 pounds heavier. Not to derail the thread, but the doors on a Firebird (Trans Am in this case) or a Camaro are a hoot. And these don't have the power window option, either. I'm sure there are worse than this, too.
I bet those were TOUGH! I was able to use my hyd jack to make small up and downs but it was still difficult to make small adjustments. Great work on those big doors.
Another step in this long parade. Installed both fenders today. It was pretty easy after I was able to find the proper blind fasteners. Really firmed the entire front body up tight. I hope to start her up next week.
