The rear springs on my F-2 look great, lots of arch. However, the fronts are pretty much flat and level. Does anyone know approximately how much arch there should be in the front springs?
Unloaded (no engine and front clip) the front springs will only have a slight arch. If you see in this picture of my F3, the spring has the arch just before the full engine weight is added. Once the engine is in, the spring is nearly flat. And then when the front clip, hood and all the other stuff is added the spring is pretty much fully flat. The springs pictured here went through a local spring shop to get a few leaves replaced, and re-arched.
