fuel pumps not pumping

i have a 1990 f-250 with a 302 and i recently came home from a hunting trip and now im not getting any fuel to the engine what could be my problem?

I have a '90 F-150 that did the same thing and all it was, was the fuel tank selector switch.

If you have dual tanks, then you should have a fuel pump in each tank, and an external pump on the frame rail by the drivers door. You should hear that pump run for a second or 2 when you first turn the key to the on position. If you don't hear it, it could be a bad pump, or it could be as simple as the fuel pump relay, or the interia switch.
