vss error ....
So, on top of the failed O2 sensor ... the O2 heater malfunction ... the wheel ABS sensor fail .... now I have a new problem ...
When the ABS wheel sensors failed, I decided on a last ditch effort (I was trying to leave on a trip with the RV .... 1999 F53 stripped chassis) to switch out the VSS sensor in the rear end.
Now I am getting an error ...P0503 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction VSS
So, I put the old one back in ... same error ....
Put the new one in ... I went to live data on my reader ... 0.00 ... 19.86 ..... 11.4 ....
Speed was jumping all over the place!
I have already replaced the sensor ... what do I do next?
Could it be the connector or wiring or ???????
