Happy that we’ve been experiencing some above normal temperatures. It’s not summer clean, but it’s definitely 60+ degrees in December clean. Thankful that I was able to get some more wax on it before January’s weather sets in.
On another note, after a year of ownership (& 18K miles), I’m still head over heels for this truck. Its been great as my daily driver, family vacation vehicle, towing my parent’s boat, and on hunting trips with my dog. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned to this point.
It’s a 5.0! Love the Coyote. The 2.7L would’ve been great, but I miss my Fox Body Mustang and I went with the 5L instead. I believe I have 3:31 gears, but honestly I’m not 100% off the top of my head. It’s an ‘18 with the Sport Package (bucket seats, center console) and Navigation. Would’ve also liked the FX4 package, and the Sunroof, but I got a GREAT deal from a local dealer.
Hard to tell who likes it more, me, my wife, my daughter, or the dog. I’ll probably add some exhaust and some BFGoodrich tires and a different set of wheels at some point past the warranty. These Michelin tires are great for the road, but not what I need for any farming or lite off-roading.
The 5.0 is an awesome engine. I went with a 2.7 in mine due to the deal I got, but would've certainly considered a 5.0. I have a built 351W in my 86 for when I want to hear some nice V8 music.
Almost a year for us as well, picked up our 18 F-150 STX 5.0 truck January 5 last year, have put just over 10k miles on it, no issues with the truck other than replacing a $25 plastic bumper cover on the left side due to a deer strike.
The wife and I both really like the truck.
