I have no clue how the previous owner even accomplished this(truck only 10k miles).I noticed the other day that one side of the tailgate sticks out almost a 1/4 of an inch. He some how managed to bend the holy crap out of the striker post. Just finished replacing. 15 min job. Figured everyone would want to see this gem.

On the plus side I was thinking maybe beat up truck and they just put a bed liner in it but it looks like the paint around the sides of the tailgate and lights is nice. So I wouldnt worry about it too much.
