Lock not working right on 97
I have a 97 areostar. I have problems unlocking the front door locks. sometimes the key works and sometimes it doesnt. I have no problem with the read door or the ignition. any help would be appreciated thanks

Maybe try spraying a bunch of WD-40 into your lock......then put your key in and lock, unlock, lock unlock and bunch of times. It could just be getting all gummed up. Hope this helps.

Anyways, glad I could help. I would recommend doing that to all your locks and hinges on your doors and hood at least twice a year just to help with squeaks and stuff. Also, get some silicon lube or spray and do all your weather-stripping around your doors and windows at the same time. Also, spray your tracks where your windows go up and down to to prevent your window from getting stuck going up and down. Makes everything slide better. Glad to help! -Matt
