Who sells the best big back window kit? Looking for help & information to cut & install a big back window in a 56. What grinding & cutting tool to use? Bracing & supports?
Is this on a chopped roof..? All the kits would be the same regardless who you bought it from , shopping for the best price is the best you'll likely do. Those are pretty expensive kits to be cutting up
John, I think that he is referring to cutting the cab in order to install the BBW frame.
The seam below the window can be a challenge to keep from warping the rear panel of the cab. I have seen some magazine articles on the install, pretty straight forward process. If you plan to have trim around the window glass then you better do your homework first...OEM stainless is like unobtainium and the chrome trim that some aftermarket vendors carry is junk.
Mid Fifty sells a kit with the cab back braces. I’m not sure why but apparently the bracing for a BBW is different than a standard. Maybe someone in the know can step in here.
