While going to wire up my dash cam to AUX 1 just like in my 17, i noticed the blunt cut wiring harness in the passenger footwell did not match the wire diagram from the owners manual. This small harness has no brown with green trace. Anybody have the upfitter supplemental information? I also looked under the hood near the fuse box for the blunt cut wiring there to confirm the colors but I can't find them. If it matters, I did not order the PTO option with the truck.
Upfitter wires should be under/behind the fusebox under the hood. They're taped up real well but you'll find em. The wires in the passenger footwell are customer access wires and pass thru wires but NOT upfitter wires. That's why all the ID's on the white tag are listed but exclude Aux1-6.

I just followed the owners manual instructions which states the upfitter wires are in the passenger footwell. The truck didn't come with the supplemental upfitter paperwork like my 14 and 17 trucks.
The passthru wires are behind the passenger side kick panel and come out the other side of the firewall. There’s no wire harness attached to them. They are simply wires that pass through the firewall.
The upfitter switch wires are on the drivers side tucked below the fuse box in the engine compartment tucked right up against the firewall.
if you are running an interior source to an upfitter switch, you have to add wire from the upfitter wiring to the passthru wire.
Id assume the 2020 is the exact same as the 17-19. Lots of you tube videos available. Best to look at SEIC installation videos because it shows both areas.
So I took NorEasterMA's advice and went looking for them under the hood again and ended up finding them. They were taped up next to another harness which made them almost impossible to see or feel. Fuse box is on the passenger side of the engine compartment now. Had to get pretty violent to get the damn things loose. Thanks for the help.
This thread saved my life, or at least kept me from stroking out in frustration! I was trying to figure out how and why I had to fish wires to the upfitters from the kick panel.. Found mine right behind driver's side fuse box. Now to wire up my aux backup/work lights.

So the fuse box is on the passenger side now...very interesting. Smart, if the pass thru wires are still there. What engine do you have?
Thanks to bbronco66 for posting those pictures. I was trying to get a Wireless One air compressor installed for my air ride fifth wheel hitch. I had no idea Ford had decided to move them from the prior location on the 17-19's. I would have never found them otherwise as they are well hidden. A pain to retrieve but I got them out.
That wiring harness is for the pto and high idle. I just used that harness to wire up my high idle. Like others said, the upfitter wires are on drivers side near the firewall. You may have to dig for them under a fuse box. The pass through wires are on the passenger side firewall. The pass through wires are just long enough that you can touch them but too short to easily wire anything to them.... at least in my truck they were.
I cursed a lot and broke out into a sweat messing with the pass through wires!
I had no problem getting to these wires with my 6.2. My 6.7 was a PITA!
My 2018 (diesel) truck had the Upfitter fuses/relays in a close/exact location as my 2020 7.3 gas, drivers side close to firewall.
I didn't know the Pass-Thru wires in the cab unplugged as in the 1st post of this thread.

There is literally an entire section of the manual dedicated to the Upfitter switches. If you can't figure something out, read the manual. It's right there with written descriptions of what things are, pictures showing the location, tables showing the wire color and amp ratings, etc. The manual is an extremely valuable tool. Don't forget about it.

Sage advice, except the posts in this thread seem to contradict the manual (see post #5 for example).
Disregard, I was going off of 67L48's illustration which doesn't match what is in the 2020 manual (see below). Your point is valid.
