This has been beat to death between warn, superwinch and mile marker on here. I have used all three on dana 44's and 60's in the past on all sorts of vehicles...
Anyone used these? this is just like what my 2002 xlt came with, they worked great, but i suspect these are chinagarbage - I like the idea of keeping the factory look, and having 2wd low(not to mention despite my best efforts lubing the dials in my hubs, i still have to engage the driver side with a pair of pliers
At that price you know they are made off shore. The choice is spend the money or use pliers to engage. I never have a problem with my cheap superwinch ones.
from my four wheeling days i had bad experiences with warn, superwinch and milemarker and ended up going to drive flanges....was just curious if anyone had any experiences with these.
I have warns.. they’ve been good for about 8 years, but recently the ritaining ring that keeps the gear cylinder and actually locks the hub started to pop out inside. I just put it back on and it works for the snow duration
Those Amazoo items look like factory knockoffs. If the materials are decent I bet they work fine. That said, if you can get Mile Markers for $20 more, why not.
My Mile Markers rattled over washboard/traintracks and a set of spiralox holds them in more tightly. Can't find PN at the moment, sorry.

600-204 looks like a Dorman part number. You can get this same set on ebay for about $80 so if you get them, why not save $20. Also, check the different auction listings for different warranty lengths and a USA seller. I looked at those type hubs recently because my right front is the same "pliers move" as yours. I found a seller that offered a 2 year warranty instead of 30/60 days

Every set of mile markers i have had rattled like that, and the seals did not do their job well, warns i dont like the difficulty to engage and ive broken a set, spring broke on a set of superwinch. Now that i think about it, i may look into a set of spicer hubs that came on the 77.5-79 front ford dana 60's, those hubs are stout, and the only set ive had that i was happy with.

do superwinch/warn/MM require mod to stock center cap?
No mod required but with the shallower manual hubs you have to reach deep inside the cap to switch and there is a large gap that allows mud and junk easy access to the inside of the cap. I put a set of 06 caps on the front. Looks stupid if you're a 7.3 purist but looks aren't a big concern to me.
I was in real estate for a number of years and believe me when I tell you pictures can lie.
If you saw my truck up close you would not say beautiful.
It has a number of small dents and dings. Thanks to Ga DOT who was shaving concrete roads in the rain years ago I also have what looks like mud splash on the right side down low but is actually a layer of concrete that somehow reformed and attached to the paint.
I'm much more concerned with function than looks so these things only bother me a little but not enough to do anything about it. If she was in good shape when I got her I would work harder to keep her that way but she was already banged up when we met.
One good thing about driving a banged up Granpa truck is that the Super Duty thieves, of which we have quite a few in our area, don't seem to target mine.
I am trying to recall from years ago so... if I remember correctly, when you turn the factory hub to “lock”, using a set of channel locks you can continue turning the hub past to just past where it stops. At that point you can remove the plastic dial and clean up the inside. After cleaning, line up the ears on the dial to the grooves on the hub, push down and turn toward “auto”. This seems to be little known, but it absolutely can be done without damage if you are gentle. Only problem is I don’t remember 100% if you turn to lock and turn slightly past the stop, or if you turn to auto and slightly past the stop. If yours are junk to start with you have nothing to lose.
edit: if you take it apart, mark the plastic dial and hub together, as it must go on the same way as there is 3 different width grooves which line the hub and dial up.
