New Coil

I purchased a new coil for my orignial 6v 226h flathead 6. The markings on the coil I removed had "bat", which is where the wire from the ignition switch was connected and "dist", which is where the lead wire connect to the distributor. On the new coil, the marking are "+" and "-". Which wire goes where?

If you're still original 6V positive ground, the wire from the ignition goes to the (-) and the wire to the distributor hooks up to the (+) terminal on the coil.
