Just recently picked up a new 2019 F250 XLT premium and I would like to change out the headlight and foglight bulbs to a brighter halogen bulb.
Looking for suggestions from people that have done this already.
I changed my bulbs out about a week ago. I used 4 beamtech J1 bulbs. They all orient perfectly except for the passenger top bulb is slightly off but doesn't affect the pattern. The best part is they are fairly cheap. Another thing to note is they are all low beam and high beam.
I went with a supposedly better halogen a couple years ago when I had the 2017.Sylvania Silver Star if I remember correctly. Very unimpressed. It became the reason that I installed Beamtech LED just about this time 2 years ago. Kept those Beamtech and have them in my 2019 now.
I also tried the halogen Sylvania Silver Stars and was very disappointed with them. I've been running the Beamtech H13's and couldn't be happier. They are a plug and play product with zero issues with results that exceed my expectations. You won't be disappointed.

The lights on my 18 didn’t throw light very far down the road and I thought something was wrong. Finally got around to adjusting them with the procedure in the manual and both sides were a full turn low from the factory. I can see much better now and I’m not getting flashed so I’m sticking with original bulbs for now.
Does anyone have a part number for the beamtech bulbs to fit a 2019? When I look them up on amazon it says none will fit....
even the beamtech website doesn't have a fitment guide.

would you have any pics of the light output on those?
^^^ Doesn't putting a LED bulb in a halogen reflector make it worse? I thought the reflectors are specifically built for LED and halogen. I to have a 2019 and the head lights suck!

you need an LED with the diode at the exact location that the filament of the halogen bulb was. If it’s farther in or our, or oriented differently, the beam pattern changes.

So it’s literally impossible to replicate the halogen bulb location, depth etc?
