Just performed a cylinder compression test on my 460...wanted to get some of your expert opinions on whether these readings are reasonable enough to leave the engine alone for the time being.
The numbers look a little low but they average out ok. I wouldn't be thinking of pulling that engine unless you want to do other mods to it.

I've thought about putting a set of Edelbrock Performer RPM heads on it. But I really don't want to go through taking the block to a machine shop for a re-bore, new pistons, etc. If I had to do that, I might as well just drop in a crate motor. More $$$, but less hassle.
How do you like the 5.0 in your truck? I would consider going to a small block.
Your readings are not too bad. The other numbers are the guage are probably metric for pressure. I don't think you would like the 302 after having a 460.
It's always been my understanding to not worry about looking for exact numbers, since there are so many variables like elevation, air temp, cam specs etc. Rather, just be sure the readings are all pretty close. I think you should be fine. If you had 1 or 2 readings around 100 and the rest were around 145 150, then I'd look for a problem.
