2000 Excursion - dash lights out

2000 Excursion - dash lights out
My dash lights are out. All of them. No other lights are out. My gauge lights (which do not run off the dimmer switch) also work fine.
Is it the dimmer switch or a loose ground on the gauge cluster? Any ideas where to start looking?
I tried the Excursion forum but received no responses.
