turkey run

anyone attend the daytona turkey run ? I have been going to Debary Fl [20 miles southwest of daytona on I 4 ] for the last 12 years . went to the run each year for the first 7 years , then it got to crowded and traffic , getting into the track was very heavy , so I stopped going , I always would see plenty of vehicles on 95 or 4 that would be going to the run , this year , only 4 that where , on Saturday at 10 am on the way home I was on 95 bridge that crosses speedway blvd , stopped in traffic . I could look right down to the speedway entrance , and saw very little traffic and only 1 mid 60s ford truck ,. was attendance way down ?? now I wish I had gone .

I've gone a handful of times in the last few years to both the Thanksgiving show and the spring show as a spectator. The Thanksgiving show traffic will back up onto 95 around 10am but the new traffic routing seems to have helped a bunch. In the spring I don't think I even had to slow down on my way to the turn four parking area. Turn out seemed consistent this year with the past few visits but I am noticing many of the same vehicles at every show.
