Monthly or Annually?

I recall last year, at about this time, there was some discussion about the forum. Should we do it monthly or just open a new year and drive straight through. Basically, just one long thread. So how do we feel this year? Obviously, "one long thread" concept won out last year. Is everyone ok with that? Would you prefer to have a new thread for each month? Many, if not most of the other states seem to lean toward the monthly thread, with a different theme for each month. We can do that, if you prefer. It's your forum, what would you like to see?

Annual would be better.

Doesn't really rather much to me but I do tend to like the monthly themes and discussions.

I have been thinking in WV going to Seasonal threads. That way I don't have to name a new thread monthly or one big thread in a year but 4 reasonable threads a year. I would start after Christmas with Winter.

I like that idea, Rod.

Anyone have any other suggestions of comments about the monthly , quarterly or annually?

Quarterly would work as well.

I dislike the annual threads as it takes too long (and tiresome) to try to find a certain post. The seasonal idea sounds like a reasonable compromise . Great thought Rod. I too may go with that theme in MD

I agree on the too long annual thread and the monthly thing is too redundant for the number of posts. Quarterly or seasonal (about the same duration) seem more manageable from what I see others do.

I think I'll wait until the new year. Quarterly is just so much more uniform and consistent.

I like to be different and unusual but the wife sometimes says I am "difficult and strange" but I don't know what she is talking about! LOL
Anyway seasons seem easier to me than quarterly.
But that is why we live in America!!
