clutch hydrolic line question/problem
Welcome to the FTE Family! I had the same trouble w/ replacing my fuel filter cause i'm used to using a regular see-through, in-the-line filter! I now have a filter for high pressure fuel system, cause i have EFI! My point being, is when i replaced it, it would not go into the hole all the way so i took it back out (the filter) + examined the ends of it again! I went back under the truck w/ a flashlight (working w/ gas here; 1 spark + KA BOOM!!) to familarize myself with this type of system by examining the fuel lines. I then noticed that it had spacers + "O" rings inside that were cocked slightly stopping the line from reentering the recepticle. Make sure that the line is clean of contaminents + goes in totally strait, not cocked on an angle, this won't work! The 2 systems i see utalize a strait "Hairpin"clip or a round "Duck-bill"clip. I would think the "Duck-bill"clip would be used here cause it's a "push -in+ snap" type system! Give it a bit of a twist while pushing the line into the recepticle.
Hope this helps!
