Replace blower motor 2005
Not an easy job . Video at 1aa auto parts helps. I removed connector after unbolting 3 8mm screws ,you will need a small ratcheting box end 8mm for left screw . Connector lock is not intuitive . My old eyes could not see the print of push to release so I had a lot of trouble getting it off . , I will include a picture soon .
This thing is tough to find a point to get it out and back in . You do have to take off fuse cover kick panel and pull back carpet /pad .
I ended up cutting plastic tab off that gets in the way on housing ,its only purpose is to secure motor lead . Dremeled it off with a cutting disk .
The plastic squirrel cage fan is not hard plastic it does bend okay, I hope new one is the same . I hooked the cable up before bolting in . I don't have the new one yet so I drilled a hole and oiled the old one to get by for a week . I wish I had racoon hands and i was young again to get in there .
The old one is back in with two screws until I get the new one . You will cuss this thing ,it went in harder than it came out . It seems to come out and go back in with connector pointing at fuse box sort of . Get lots of light in there .
