Name That Part!
Found this in my Ex a few days after I purchased it from the PO. Can't figure out what it is, what it does or where it's supposed to be installed.

It's about 3" long. I'm pretty sure it's not a chipmunk's potty seat. Any ideas?

its a cover that goes over the wires coming off of the ignition switch, you can kinda see it in this pic

How in the heck did you know that?? And I wonder if it's going to be a PITA to put back on? Should I bother??

I install car alarms so a lot of the wires I tap are in that area, I probably wouldn't bother
