Good morning
Looking for some advice I have a 99 F2 50 super duty with a 5.4 L engine I was working on my plow lights yesterday the isolation module to the plow took a dump so I was just wiring blinkers and headlights onto its own separate plug hardwired into the truck inadvertently one of the plow headlights had an 1156 bulb instead of an 1157 essentially my running lights back Fed into my left blinker it took me a few minutes to figure out what the issue is after resolving the issue with the plow light my headlights turn signals everything works however now I’m getting an ABS light on the dash a P0 500 code and no speedometer
What I have done so far is pull the VSS ohmed it out which showed good as well as swapping with another known good vss same issues are still there transmission shifts erratically and rough. i’m certain I burnt something out just not sure where to start looking PCM GEM ABS not real good with electrical can’t afford a garage right now and this is my only vehicle I have for work snow is coming
i also disconnected the battery over night with no change in the morning
Your question will be better received in the Older, Classic and Antique Trucks section. Also, under Misc. you'll find electrical and wiring.
Don't forget to check out your state chapter too.
