Adding Power seats

I bought power seats with heat from a f150...driver has power functions but haven't tried heat yet...passenger doesn't move...I have a ground in my truck harness just not power wire...wanted to know where I can tap into to get it working...thought maybe rear 12 volt power from jump seat?...or should I go to the fuse box on the passenger floor?...Im waiting to get added to forscan so I can enable the heat function and try it...if I don't get heat working on the radio can I run a toggle switch and power from somewhere?

Ideally power from the fuse box with the current amps and wire for each job. Heated seats have to have switches mounted in the dash. There may even be plugs under your seats for some of this, have to take the seats out and search around anyway. What trim level is your truck and year, 2015 and up seats from the 150 should bolt right into a 2017 and up SD.

My tuck is a 19 stx...the seats are out of a 16 lariat...I got power to the passenger from the 12 volt to the jump seat...im still waiting to get accepted to forscan to see if the driver heat works...if not then I need to find what wires in the seat control the heat and run power to them with a toggle switch

My seats have a switch in the dash. Without the switch, which is a 3 position button, you will not have the appropriate control over heat settings. It’s possible you have plugs under the seats and behind the dash. Worth a look anyways.
