Couple small issues

Truck is a 78 f150 4x4 351m t18 trans. First thing is when i let out on my clutch pedal it sticks half way. and have to pull it the res of the way up with my foot. And since its started to get cold my t18 has become quite hard to get in gear especially 2nd do they normally do this in cold weather.

I would check the bushings for the equalizer bar and rod. You can take the rod loose at clutch fork and see if it is the pedal assembly or the clutch itself. My bronco with a np435 is the same way, but clutch operates fine with no slipping. Maybe it is that way from the factory? If you pull the pedal back it is a lot higher than the brake pedal.

When cold the oil in the trans is thicker and makes shifting more difficult. You can change oil out to something less viscous for cold weather operation.

Ford recommended SAE 50 above 10 degrees F and SAE 30 below 10 degrees F on the 4 speed.

Sticky clutch pedal, here are the possibilities:

Upper pic: With a M/T, the brake pedal (2455 in pic) rides on the shaft of the clutch pedal (7519), there are 4 nylon bushings (2471).

Clutch release rod (7521) attaches to the bell crank (7A554) adjacent to the brake pedal, then routes thru the toe board to the clutch equalizer (Z) bar (7528).

This rod has 90 degree ends w/a nylon bushing (7526) on each end. The bushings crack apart/disintegrate, the 90 degree ends begin to crack, soon break off.

The clutch pedal drops to the floor, lays there like a drunken sailor.

The equalizer bar has 2 nylon bushings (7543), one on each pivot.

There's a clutch pedal assist spring (7534 upper/lower pics) located on the pedal.

Clutch release coil spring (7523 lower pic) attaches to the clutch fork (7515) then hooks into a hole on the frame rail (2WD) or a bracket (7542) on the frame rail (4WD)
