shock mount brackets..
i need the rear shock mount brackets to my 82 f 250 4x4.. the ones that attatch to the frame one of mine has broken at end taht holds the shock.. i cant find ant other than the local bone yard or the dealership.. and if the stocks broke than someone has to have bigger and better..

The stock ones broke because they hold crap in that little cup where the shock is mounted, and it rots out. go to the dealer, because they are around $12. Cut off the rivets and bolt it back on with grade 8 bolts. it'll be good for around 15 years.

Yup, go in and ask for parts for a 97 F250 or F350, last year for the 80-96/7 chassis. For the most part, the 99+ Super Duty chassis looks quite similar, however, I haven't done a side by side comparison. I do know that they use the same cab mount bushings, they even carry an E0(1980) engineering number.
