No spark, need help!

I was driving down the road and it just quit. My dad took me to get a new ignition module, no help. Towed it home changed coil, pick up inside the distributor, and another module. If I hook a hot wire from the battery directly to the hot side of the coil it starts. The reading from the eec relay is about 12 volts, but at the coil it is 10v. When I go to crank it over it drops down to 7v. I'm thinking a correded wire, but not sure where to look. Any Ideas what is wrong?? 90 Bronco 302 AOD

I would start by looking for a bad ground, then fuseable link in the wire, then start at the coil, pull the wires out of harnes and start chewcking them. DW

I'd look at the pos batt cable. If you drop there your comp wont come alive.

Found the problem. Started tracing wires back and found one that would make the test light brighter. It was on the fenderwell, with all the other spaghetti wires.
