PCM program

I recently acquired a 2003 SD with a 6.0. Have no idea the service history of this truck. Would it be worth the time and money to have a dealer check the PCM program and make sure it had the latest updates? Could they still even do this on a 16 yr old vehicle?

Not worth it. If it runs good and no issues are present I would leave it alone.
