Do a search and you'll find more as people ask about these every month or so. The general consensus is they work, but don't make a huge difference. It does introduce another component that will eventually wear out as well.
I had them on for about a year and it maybe lessened the harshness by 10%. I just took them off and upgraded to PMF/Deavers with a 4.5" lift built in and it's better than Sulastics on Skyjacker "softride" leafs for sure
No worries. He must have modified the Sulastic mount or modified the OEM front rear shackle mount to make it fit in the front. Unless it took very little modification. If you go to the Sulastic link I provided, you'll see it's for the rear axle application.
EDIT: I AM WRONG AND BENTLY IS CORRECT>>> FOR THE OLDER FRONT LEAF SPRUNG FORDS, THEY HAVE MOUNTS FOR THE FRONT SPRINGS.
