My F-250 does not have a rear defroster. Has anyone added on? I found this: https://www.frostfighter.com/clear-v...ters-about.htm I think from here but can't find it again in a search.

Anyways. If anyone has tried an aftermarket defroster how did it work? Any chance the OEM wiring would be near the back window I can tap into? And if not I have heated mirrors, anyone tap into the button that turns them on?

 

i have never heard of a pickup with a rear defroster.


i don't see a need for one either. i never look out the rear window, i use the mirrors.

i have had several trucks with them and I like them. I have to park my truck outside where the back window does frost over. I have to back out of my driveway into a semi-busy road every morning. Mirrors do not help to see if a car is coming around the curve at 10 mph over the limit.

 

really? who puts them in pickups ? i have never heard of or seen one.
cars yes, but never in a pickup.
