License plate

Dealer swapped license plates last time we traded RV. Had to replace plate this year instead of sticker. Bargman type taillamp with license plate holder, 2 tabs part of lamp base. Flat head screws from backside, nuts on plate side. Appear to by plastic or nylon. Can't get them tightened back up. What do you have to do, take the lamp assembly off? Dealer looks to have snipped off excess threads. What a stupid design. Didn't want to mess up the seal around lamp.

I replace the plastic nuts and bolts with new plastic on the camper. On the truck I swapped out to SS. Just cut the plastic ones off and replace with new.
