Hello everyone. New here and in need of some help. I recently bought an 02 Harley Davidson edition F-150. The EATC unit functions for the most part but the cooler button and vent/norm a/c don’t. I have no experience with this system. My last F-150 had the old fashioned *****. I can get around this by selecting max a/c and just using the warmer button to adjust if needed. The annoying part is to go cooler I have to start over at max a/c. I’ve considered replacing the unit, but they are rather expensive and would like to be sure it’s the actual issue. I’d appreciate any expertise on the subject. I’ve looked online and can’t find anything specific to this issue. Tons of posts and videos for the vent selector vacuum issue though. I did actually run the self check and there are no codes on the system.

 

Welcome to FTE. There are two forums where this question would better be posed. The 1997 through 2003 F150 forum and the Lightning, Harley-Davidson, etc, etc forum. Both, or either would have plenty of people able to help.
