My old ford is going to need a new rocker panel on the drivers side. I will probably replace the rocker, Part of the floor extension and the bottom of the B post.
I ordered the new parts to make the repair from a local jobber. When I picked up these parts I found them to be so thin that you have to be careful picking them up. The floor section is so thin it will wave back at you. I refused the sheet metal repair panels. I might as well use paper mâché to repair it. Now i'm looking for a better quality part.
Has anyone made this repair and have a suggested source for parts that are at least close to the OEM thickness....and fit? I would appreciate any advise or suggestions. I intend to weld in place.\\
I have used DynaCorn on other projects in the past. Not sure if they make panels for our trucks but on old Mustangs they are one of the better Repro companies.

Edge,
Thanks for the info. I found DynaCorn on line, but nothing for the old F150, but they sure got a lot of Mustang stuff!
Thanks again..
I noticed in one of the companion threads below that accompany all threads, a poster recommended tabcoparts.com and it does sound pretty interesting, you want to may check them out.
